Terry Gilliam has revealed to Contact Musicthat he plans to star work on the failed Johnny Depp flick THE LEGENDOF DON QUIXOTE next year. The big news comes after the filmmaker wasable to secure rights from an insurance company that paid out $15million for the movie's troubles.
Gilliam spoke at his own tribute by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in London.
"I was in some way relieved that [the original film] did fall apart," he said.
"BecauseI didn't have the money to finish it. It's a good thing it went downwhen it did because I would have got the blame for going over budget. Ithink this time we will make a better film." He added.
He may come into a little trouble though. Johnny Depp's diary is prettyjam packed with a fourth PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN movie planned and abig-screen LONE RANGER film that he signed to star in too.
